How to Run ” command prompt ” as administrator in Win 7/8

To start a command prompt as an administrator in windows 7

 

  1. Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.

2. Right-click Command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Note: If the User Account Control dialog window box appears, click yes to confirm that the action to open “Command Prompt” as “Administrator”  then click Continue.

 

To start a command prompt as an administrator in Windows 7(Win 7) – Alternative Method

 

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Start Search box, type cmd, Command Prompt right click > click run as administrator (press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER)
  3. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue
